RADIUS – Research and Development Information Unified System
Executive Summary
RADIUS is a web-based research and development information management system developed for DOST-MIMAROPA to serve as a centralized repository of regional R&D information. It consolidates data on researchers, publications, programs, projects, intellectual property, expenditures, and participating institutions while providing dashboards, search tools, and analytics to support research monitoring and evidence-based decision-making.
The Operational Challenge
R&D information across the region was distributed among different institutions, spreadsheets, reports, and independent databases. This made it difficult to maintain a consolidated regional research inventory, identify available research outputs, monitor projects and expenditures, and generate timely statistics for planning and policy formulation.
The AmBytez Architecture & Solution
Designed and developed a centralized web-based information system that organizes and consolidates regional R&D data into structured, searchable repositories. The system provides dashboards and analytics, research information categorization, institutional data management, RADIUS 6Ps monitoring, IP-related publications and programs, keyword-based search, and responsive access for participating universities, colleges, researchers, and government stakeholders.
